Hann’s Pharmacy – Weather and Carrier Delay Protection

1. Prescription Dispensing and Release to Carrier

By placing an order with Hann’s Pharmacy, the customer acknowledges and agrees that prescription medications are considered fulfilled and dispensed once they are prepared, packaged, and released to a third-party shipping carrier for delivery.

Delivery services are performed by independent carriers (such as FedEx or similar providers) and are not under the direct control of Hann’s Pharmacy.

2. Estimated Delivery Dates – No Guarantee

All shipping dates and delivery times provided are estimates only.

Hann’s Pharmacy does not guarantee delivery by a specific date or time. Delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Carrier operational delays
  • Transportation interruptions

3. Weather and Carrier Delay Disclaimer

The customer acknowledges that shipping carriers may experience delays caused by weather or other uncontrollable events and that such delays do not constitute failure of service by Hann’s Pharmacy.

Hann’s Pharmacy is not responsible for delivery delays resulting from circumstances beyond its control once medications have been released to the carrier.

4. Payment Authorization and Charge Acceptance

By authorizing payment, the customer agrees and understands that:

  • Charges are for prescription medications that have been dispensed and released for shipment
  • Payment authorization applies regardless of carrier delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events
  • Delivery delays do not invalidate the payment obligation once medications have shipped

The customer agrees not to dispute charges based solely on shipping delays caused by weather or carrier circumstances outside of Hann’s Pharmacy’s control.

5. Temperature-Controlled Packaging

Hann’s Pharmacy utilizes appropriate temperature-controlled packaging designed to protect medications during transit.

Once released to the carrier, environmental conditions and transit timing are managed by the carrier. Delays caused by weather or carrier operations are outside of Hann’s Pharmacy’s control.

6. Courtesy Re-Shipments

In certain circumstances, Hann’s Pharmacy may offer a courtesy replacement shipment.

Such replacements are provided at the sole discretion of Hann’s Pharmacy and do not constitute a refund or reversal of the original dispensed prescription.

7. Customer Acknowledgment

By signing or electronically accepting this policy, the customer confirms:

  • Understanding that delivery dates are estimates only
  • Acceptance of carrier delay risk, including weather-related delays
  • Authorization of payment for dispensed medications regardless of shipping delays
