Meet Hann’s Pharmacy’s Fertility Team

Kristen Hann Souders
Kristen Hann SoudersOwner, Pharmacist
Kristen Hann Souders brings over 30 years of pharmacy experience, including more than two decades in specialty pharmacy spanning fertility, oncology, compounding, and complex disease states such as hepatitis C, Crohn’s disease, and rheumatoid arthritis. Her passion for fertility care is also deeply personal, her middle son was conceived through IVF, giving her a first-hand understanding of the emotional and physical challenges patients face on their journey to parenthood.

Kristen has developed a specialized fertility training module and leads annual recertification programs for her team to ensure compassionate, expert care for every patient. Her drive to connect more personally with patients led her from a career as a retail pharmacy manager to founding a boutique pharmacy focused on individualized care, education, and whole health support.

Pharmacy has always been Kristen’s passion. Growing up in Cumberland, MD, she spent countless hours in the pharmacy where her father, Wes Hann, worked, watching the trust and connection he built with every customer who came through the door. Honoring his legacy, she named Hann’s Fertility Pharmacy after him. Like her father, she studied at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, proudly carrying on the family tradition.

Outside of work, Kristen enjoys long runs in chilly weather, sipping Yerba Mate, and spending as much time as possible with her husband and three boys.

Mary Buckley, PharmD, RPh completed her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry at Virginia Tech and her Doctor of Pharmacy at Virginia Commonwealth University. Mary spent six years working as a retail float pharmacist between Central Virginia and Seattle before returning to the DMV area to practice in Falls Church for another five years. Mary is passionate about the opportunity Hann’s has provided to assist patients in their fertility journey and enjoys sharing her own experiences with them. She considers it a privilege to be part of such a significant and emotional journey for families and strives to make the pharmacy aspect as stress-free as possible. As the compounding pharmacist, Mary takes pride in delivering consistent and safe products for all Hann’s patients.

Outside of work, Mary enjoys exploring new restaurants, spending time with friends and family (especially her nieces and nephew), managing her energetic German Shepherd, Barley, and cheering for Hokie football.

Colette Lewis-Mann

Colette Lewis-Mann, RPh studied Master of Pharmacy at the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom. She decided to become a pharmacist after discovering a keen interest in medicines but also a strong desire to care for others. Colette has over 9 years of pharmacist experience in the United Kingdom in community and hospital pharmacy settings. During her time in the United Kingdom, she learned the importance of empathy and creating a safe space in the pharmacy for patients to feel seen and heard. Colette joined Hann’s Pharmacy initially as a pharmacy intern in June 2021 and just over a year later, she became a licensed pharmacist. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and encouraging them to feel more confident about their medications. One of Colette’s mottos is: “There is no such thing as a silly question! Ask me anything!” Colette loves counseling patients on the benefits of homeopathic products and the importance of professionally fitted compression. She looks forward to continuing to support patients throughout their fertility journey and making sure each patient leaves Hann’s Pharmacy feeling positive, valued, and special. Outside of work, Colette loves going on cruises and hunting around for the treats she misses from the UK.
