Family is a wonderful gift. Adding more members to your family makes life even more beautiful. When you’re having difficulty conceiving and discover you have low progesterone levels, progesterone in oil injections may be your solution.

What Is a Progesterone in Oil Injection, and What Is It Used for?

Progesterone is a hormone in people’s bodies that aids in fertility. It thickens the uterine lining to help fertilize eggs and make them more likely to grow. A low progesterone level while trying to get pregnant makes the process challenging and increases the risk of miscarriage. If you want to enhance your chances of becoming pregnant, progesterone in oil injections can increase your body’s progesterone level.

Progesterone in oil is an injectable, Food and Drug Administration-approved medication for individuals with missing menstrual periods or abnormal uterine bleeding. It’s also a common part of fertility treatment. It helps:

  • Hinder the individual’s immune system from attacking the fetus.
  • Prevent early contractions.
  • Thicken the uterus lining to increase a fertilized egg’s chances of implanting and growing.

Progesterone Safety Information

Hann’s is a progesterone fertility medication pharmacy dedicated to helping you receive fertility treatment plans to increase your chances of growing your family. As a progesterone medication provider, we do everything possible to ensure you stay safe while using the injections.

Before starting the procedures:

  1. Talk with your health care provider to see if progesterone in oil is the right choice for your needs.
  2. If your physician deems the injections safe and suitable, wait to use them until you get proper directions and training for administering them.
  3. Once you do, follow the progesterone injection instructions you receive from your provider.

When not using your injectable progesterone oil, store it at temperatures ranging from 59 to 79 degrees Fahrenheit and keep your medication out of the light.

She enjoys building relationships with her patients and encouraging them to feel more confident about their medications. One of Colette’s mottos is: “There is no such thing as a silly question! Ask me anything!” Colette loves counseling patients on the benefits of homeopathic products and the importance of professionally fitted compression. She looks forward to continuing to support patients throughout their fertility journey and making sure each patient leaves Hann’s Pharmacy feeling positive, valued, and special. Outside of work, Colette loves going on cruises and hunting around for the treats she misses from the UK.
